Kulani Itumeleng Ngobeni is a 21-year-old South African who is in her final year as an undergrad at Stellenbosch University, where she studies law. As a university student, she has been involved in student leadership, committees geared toward women’s empowerment and critical engagement and organizations like Hope Behind Bars Africa. As a Doha Debates Ambassador, she hopes to cultivate her understanding of the nexus of law and politics, and to maintain a solutions-oriented mindset in a network of globally minded thinkers.
