About Maryam Hassan

Maryam Hassan is an international student from Pakistan and is currently in her senior year at Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Qatar, where she studies international economics. As a Doha Debates Ambassador, Maryam is excited to engage with global changemakers and hopes to learn effective ways she can make a difference.

“I want to live on a planet where efforts for social justice are not impeded by the reigns of influence in the hands of a select few, who may be more concerned with self-preservation and exploiting it for their own benefit at the expense of the welfare of humanity as a whole.”
