About Jonathan Agbetsoamedo

Jonathan Agbetsoamedo currently works as an educator at the International Community School in Accra, Ghana. He is a graduate of the University of Cape Coast, where he received his Bachelor of Science in education. As an undergraduate, Jonathan participated in parliamentary sessions and served as speaker of parliament at the hall level, as well as being a representative and treasurer of his university’s debate society. He loves anything that involves sharing opinions and debating. He is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador because of the unique opportunity to learn the Majlis-style debate approach from experts. He looks forward to fully immersing himself in the unique context of the Majlis, and hopes to be able to lead global and local conversations using this approach by the end of the program.
