Mawloda Hassas
Doha Debates Ambassador 2024
Mawloda Hassas is an Afghan graduate student at the Asian University for Women (AUW) in Bangladesh. As an undergraduate, she studied political science, international relations and diplomacy at Balkh University in Afghanistan. In her free time, she loves reading, traveling and participating in cultural exchange programs. As the co-founder of the Entrepreneurship Association of Afghan Women, she has dedicated herself to promoting economic and political participation among Afghan women. Mawloda has been actively involved in various international fellowships and conferences that have enriched her understanding of global socioeconomic issues. She is fluent in English, Turkish, Uzbek, Pashto and Persian, enabling her to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse groups. Mawloda is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador because she wants to amplify the voices of Afghan women on a global platform and gain insights into effective advocacy strategies. Through the program, Mawloda aims to further her advocacy efforts and contribute to meaningful change.
