About Sahar Popalzi

Sahar Popalzi is a Afghan student at the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF), pursuing a bachelor’s in business administration and participating in many language, computer programming and psychology courses. Before the fall of the Afghan republic, she was a psychology student at Kabul University. Currently, as the vice president of the AUAF Speakers Club, she helps to strengthen students’ public speaking and communication skills. When education for Afghan girls was limited in her home country, Sahar supported her peers by creating a course through the CBA Organization for Afghan boys and girls to learn English. She is currently working as an administrative and financial manager in Kabul. In her free time, she likes to read and watch motivational movies. Sahar is very excited about participating in the Doha Debates Ambassador Program, and believes this is a chance for new experiences.
