Daphne Frias, United States
“I promise that even if other people aren't speaking about it, they're feeling the same things that you're feeling. They're just waiting on one person to ask them how they feel — and that one person can be you. You can start a revolution.”
Daphne Frias is a disability rights and climate change activist whose work focuses on minority communities disproportionately affected by climate change. She also founded the nonprofit Box the Ballot to increase absentee ballot use among young voters, and was the New York state director for March For Our Lives.
