#Solvingit26 Honoree
Joelle Zgheib, Lebanon
"Young people are very powerful, especially when they have the anger to make a change."

Joelle is a student, activist and a co-founder of Extinction Rebellion Lebanon — the first branch of the group in an Arabic-speaking country. Despite the difficulties of trying to organize in a country facing challenges like economic collapse and political instability, Joelle saw a need to center the climate crisis in her community, and began educating people.
