#Solvingit26 Honoree
Joshua Oluwaseyi, Nigeria
“I decided [that] instead of trying to fight the government and the older generation on climate change, I would take a different approach, which is educating my generation on the impacts of their everyday action on the environment.”
Joshua Oluwaseyi is a Nigerian climate activist. After discovering that he has a severe allergy to pollution fumes, he co-founded the nonprofit LearnBlue and led the #ForACleanerNation social media campaign to teach people about pollution and inspire cleanups across Nigeria. Through LearnBlue, Joshua organizes other youth activists around the world.
