Ridhima Pandey is a 13-year-old climate activist from India whose home was destroyed by extreme flooding in 2013. When she was 9, she filed a petition against the Indian government for not properly addressing climate change, and at age 11, she joined 15 other young activists to file a legal complaint against the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child for its inaction on climate change. Ridhima also campaigns for a plastic ban in India and for a cleaner Ganga River.
