Nasser Al-Khori is Doha Debates’ senior manager of partnerships and outreach, and he is responsible for developing partnerships between Doha Debates and institutions in accordance with the organization’s strategic direction. He acts as a liaison between local and international stakeholders to strengthen the Doha Debates network and build on strategic relationships globally.
Nasser has worked at Qatar Foundation for almost 10 years in various roles. He started with Qatar Foundation International in 2010, working part-time while pursuing his undergraduate business degree from Carnegie Mellon. Shortly after graduation in 2012, Nasser moved into a new role with Pre-University Education (K-12 office) to manage strategic initiatives and partnerships in Qatar and internationally. After PUE, Nasser was tasked to work with a small team to establish the foundation’s first professional development center.
The Education Development Institute has grown from a startup to a leading center for lifelong learning in Qatar. Nasser has worked in nonprofit management, with experience at QFI, the United Nations, the Ministry of Environment and Total Qatar.
Nasser holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. He is currently enrolled in an MBA program at the University College London.
