The Brô MCs are the first Indigenous rap group in Brazil, and they’re using their music to fight for their rights. The two sets of brothers, who are all Guaraní-Kaiowá, one of the largest Indigenous populations in Brazil, are raising their voices to speak out against racism, colonization and resettlement. Today, through their traditional beats and powerful lyrics, The Brô MCs are gaining mainstream popularity across Brazil and empowering the next generation of Indigenous communities across the globe.
