A conversation with Malala Yousafzai

On March 28, 2022, Doha Debates hosted a town-hall-style conversation with Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai in the intimate setting of Qatar’s National Library. This timely and important discussion explored the future of women’s and girls’ education in Afghanistan under Taliban rule and in other conflict areas.

Doha Debates correspondent Nelufar Hedayat moderated the event, which brought together young people from around the world including students from Education City in Doha and members of the Afghan girls robotics team.
