How Mohamad al-Jounde built a school for refugees like him

Mohamad al-Jounde was only 12 years old when he was forced to flee his home in Syria during the civil war. After a long and dangerous journey, he and his family ended up in a refugee camp in Lebanon, and were forced to rebuild their lives from the ground up. A few years later, inspired by the resilience and determination of the refugees around him, Mohamad had the idea to build a school—by refugees and for refugees.
