Sardar Ahmadi recently graduated from Bamyan University in Afghanistan with a degree in environmental engineering. He works in water sustainability and climate change in Afghanistan and beyond. In his spare time, he plays football, cycles and reads. During his studies, Sardar received an eight-month research fellowship and the ROYA Mentorship Award, and also attended the Global Youth Summit on Climate Change. In the future, he hopes to receive both his master’s and PhD, and work as a climate change ambassador at the United Nations. He is very excited to meet his fellow ambassadors and learn new techniques and leadership skills from expert professionals.
