About Abdulqudus Olalekan

Abdulqudus Akintomide Olalekan is a Nigerian writer, community manager and graduate student. He received his B.Sc in information technology and is pursuing a master’s degree in information management. In his free time, he loves to read, write and travel. Abdulqudus is proud of his reading community, The WildKhard Reading Club, where people from several African countries read and review African books monthly. He is also proud of his volunteer work with The Bloomers Debate, an annual debate amongst female students at senior secondary schools in Abuja, Nigeria about critical issues affecting young girls, commemorating the International Day of the Girl. He hopes to one day inspire Africa to be self-reliant. Abdulqudus is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador because it provides a platform to be a better active listener. He hopes to connect with other emerging leaders from all over the globe, learning from their diverse ideas and experiences to find new solutions to issues in his community.
