About Abrar Yazidi

Abrar Yazidi, a psychology graduate from Tunisia, is currently pursuing a second-year master’s degree in clinical neuropsychology, conducting research on the effect of music therapy on cognitive abilities in elderly individuals with dementia. She is also the general secretary at Carthage Debate, an association that promotes debate culture in Tunisia. Abrar enjoys debating, training aspiring debaters and horseback riding in her free time. She has trained many individuals in Tunisia to become professional debaters for national and international competitions. Proud to volunteer as a psychologist, Abrar assists people facing mental health challenges. Her future goal is to support more people, particularly children dealing with mental health issues and trauma. Excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador, Abrar sees the program as a great opportunity to share ideas in a positive environment, and hopes to gain new skills and knowledge to further contribute to discussions.
