Alex Berenson

Alex Berenson is an independent journalist and author of 13 novels and three nonfiction books. From 1999 through 2010, Berenson worked as a business and investigative reporter for The New York Times, primarily covering the pharmaceutical industry, the occupation of Iraq and the Bernard Madoff Ponzi scheme scandal. As a novelist, Berenson has written a series of spy thrillers, beginning with “The Faithful Spy,” which won an Edgar Award for best debut by an American novelist and became a #1 New York Times bestseller. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Berenson became a prominent voice challenging mainstream narratives about the virus, lockdowns, masks and vaccines. He was temporarily banned from Twitter in 2021 before being reinstated following litigation. He now writes on Substack, where his Unreported Truths newsletter has approximately 250,000 followers. He lives in the Hudson Valley with his family.
