Antonina Lewandowska
Sociologist, researcher and activist
Antonina Lewandowska is a sociologist, researcher and awarded activist, currently pursuing a doctorate in sociology at the University of Warsaw on abortion experiences in systemic and institutional contexts. She is an alumna of the Leadership, Communication and Policy Skills Development course at the University of Cambridge. Professionally, Lewandowska is the national advocacy coordinator at the Foundation for Women and Family Planning. She also collaborates with international organizations such as the ASTRA Network to advance reproductive rights across Central and Eastern Europe and contributes to policy-making at the European Union and United Nations levels. Co-author of several reports on the state of sexuality education and women’s rights in Poland, she now serves as an expert with the European Union’s Contraception Atlas.
