Beatrice Ala is from Rome, where she simultaneously graduated from Sapienza University, with a thesis cum laude in the geopolitics of post-revolutionary Iran, and the Sapienza School of Advanced Studies, with a thesis on the relations between capitalist economic programs and the Arab revolutions. She is currently working on a master’s degree focused on cooperation and relations between the two shores of the Mediterranean. She is passionate about the Arab and Islamic world, history, art and social sciences, and is deeply interested in social issues such as gender, racial and socioeconomic discrimination.
