About Bhuiyan Tahseen Binte Islam

Bhuiyan Tahseen Binte Islam is a second-year undergraduate studying economics at the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh. Living in her home country of Bangladesh, Tahseen loves exploring natural beauty spots, learning new skills and reading a variety of books in her free time. She is passionate about women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, economic policies and finding solutions to climate change. Proud of becoming first runner-up in the University category at the Bangladesh Economics Olympiad 2024, Tahseen wants to pursue her Ph.D. and become an economist and policymaker, working for the betterment of people all over the world. Tahseen is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador as it is a great opportunity to connect with a diverse group of youths and experts, engage in debate to find solutions to complex problems, think critically and share opinions and ideas.
