Doreen Moraa Moracha
Founder, I am a Beautiful Story
Doreen Moraa Moracha, from Kenya, was born with HIV and uses her story to de-stigmatize HIV and educate others about managing it. She founded I am a Beautiful Story, an advocacy initiative to create hope and awareness for others living with HIV. She serves on the Beijing+25 youth task force by UN Women and was highlighted by WHO in Africa as one of the youth champions for their campaign “Tea on HIV.” She works toward a stigma-free society and that starts with normalizing the HIV conversation in our daily lives.
