Guadalupe Granero Realini
Professor and researcher of urban planning and development
Guadalupe Granero Realini is an architect and holds a Master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Buenos Aires. She is a professor and researcher at the University of Buenos Aires and was an Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) scholarship recipient from the Canadian government at Ryerson University, Toronto. She works on contemporary urban housing problems, focusing on Latin American cities. As a researcher and professor, she works on urban land markets, informality and Right to the City issues, developing part of her work during a year in Rio de Janeiro. Her current research investigates the relationship between urban development and the transformation of wild and rural areas.
