Honey Thaljieh
Co-founder, women’s football in Palestine
Honey Thaljieh is the co-founder of women’s football in Palestine, the first captain of the Palestinian national team and the first Arab woman to obtain a FIFA Master and work at FIFA. Now retired from competition, Thaljieh works as a manager of corporate communications for FIFA, supporting projects that promote gender equality, life skills, health, education and peace through sport. As the corporate communications manager, Honey also works to communicate FIFA’s efforts and lead projects to promote diversity, gender equality and integration.
