About Madiha Safi

Madiha Safi is an undergraduate student at the American University of Afghanistan in Qatar. Hailing from Afghanistan, she currently lives in Kabul. Madiha studies political science, international relations and sociology. In her free time, she loves reading fiction and nonfiction, volunteering and writing articles. Madiha is proudest of having been a certified participant in Youth and Leadership—the largest youth conference in Afghanistan—held by YOUTH for YOUTH, as well as the virtual Get Engaged Conference hosted by Open Society University Network. She hopes to be a voice for Afghan girls in international communities, presenting their perspectives, visions and dreams. Madiha is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador because she wants to challenge herself, think critically and find logical solutions for specific issues.
