About Mariyum Areeb Amjad

Mariyum Areeb Amjad is a young peacebuilder from Pakistan who currently resides in Islamabad. As an undergraduate, she studied international relations and development. In her free time, she loves to read, attend online courses in international development and spend some quiet time in natural surroundings. Mariyum is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador as she believes it will enable her to become part of a global conversation on pressing developmental and social-inequity issues. By representing and advocating for these pertinent issues, she hopes to drive positive social change in her work with marginalized communities in Pakistan and beyond.
