Doha Debates Ambassador 2024
Maryam Shahzad is a Pakistani undergraduate student studying psychology, business and health science at the University of Toronto in Canada, expecting to graduate with a bachelor of science degree. In her free time, she loves to go to the gym, read and hang out with friends. Maryam is most proud of her discipline when it comes to her health, as well as her concern for others’ wellbeing. She hopes to move back to Doha and pursue a career she is passionate about. Maryam is excited to be a Doha Debates ambassador because it is an opportunity to meet and connect with other like-minded young adults in hopes of creating a better future.
