Michael Hauskeller
Philosopher and professor
Michael Hauskeller is a German-British philosopher with a wide spectrum of interests, though most of his work can be widely classified as ethics. Born and educated in Germany, he has been living and working in the UK for over 10 years. He is a professor and the philosophy department head at the University of Liverpool. As a philosopher, he describes himself as a generalist who explores fundamental questions about who we want to be and in what kind of world we want to live. For him, philosophy is ultimately a sustained attempt to understand what it means to be human and how we should live our lives.
