About Ria Das

Ria Das is a lawyer and a member of the Asia-Pacific Youth Advisory Group on Environmental and Climate Justice. She is from India and graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi, India with a bachelor’s degree in arts and law. In her free time, she loves to read, listen to podcasts and play with her cats. Ria is most proud of being recognized as one of UNESCO’s best young Indian writers, and hopes to achieve climate justice and equal rights for all. As a Doha Debates ambassador, Ria is excited to connect with and learn from other like-minded youth leaders and find solutions to the world’s thorniest social challenges, while also learning core values like empathy, compassion, cooperation and teamwork.
