Sanjit Dhami is a leading economist specializing in behavioral economics, taxation and public policy. He is a professor of economics at the University of Leicester, with degrees from the University of Toronto (PhD, MA) and the Delhi School of Economics (MPhil). His research has shaped understanding of the psychology of taxation, showing how loss aversion, mental accounting and moral costs shape taxpayer behavior, often contradicting traditional economic models.
