About Zeeshan Shaheer

Zeeshan Shaheer is a recent graduate in international relations from Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan. Hailing from the vibrant city of Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, Zeeshan embodies a fusion of academic curiosity and a fervent commitment to climate activism and sustainable development. In his academic journey, Zeeshan explored the intricate dynamics of international relations, delving into subjects that unveiled the interconnectedness of our global society. He served as president of the School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR) Speaking Fraternity, nurturing a platform for inclusive dialogue and empowering voices. Beyond academia, Zeeshan takes pride in being selected as a Peace Ambassador at the Institute of Economics and Peace (IEP) Australia, working on projects that promoted positive peace and sustainable development within his community. A participant in the prestigious Aspire Leaders Program at Harvard University, he envisions a future where leadership translates into impactful social change. He has also been an FXB Climate Advocate and an Amal Career-Prep Fellow at Amal Academy. Eagerly stepping into the role of a Doha Debates ambassador, Zeeshan is excited to contribute his unique perspective from a developing nation, fostering global conversations that transcend borders. He looks forward to participating in constructive discussions about solutions to world problems and hearing different perspectives.
